About

Who we are, and the rules we hold ourselves to.

Mission

Frontier Milestones is an independent project that records and openly shares how far humanity’s frontier technologies have actually come — using trustworthy, objective indicators.

Technologies like quantum computing, fusion, advanced nuclear, new drugs, and space move fast, but their progress is scattered across expert reports and academic sources, hard for most people to see at a glance. We gather these scattered facts so anyone can understand how close a technology is to its goal.

We do not invent scores. We work only with industry-agreed indicators and facts grounded in primary sources, and we clearly separate our interpretation from the facts.

What we hold ourselves to

01

Grounded in fact

Every progress figure is published only after being verified against a primary source. The source is always shown alongside it.

02

No invented scores

We never make up an arbitrary composite like “60% complete”. We use only the objective indicators each field already uses — qubit counts, Q value, clinical phases.

03

Facts vs. opinion

Data is presented neutrally; our analysis and outlook are clearly marked as opinion and kept separate.

04

We correct openly

When an error is found, we transparently record what was changed, and why.

05

Human-verified

Collection is automated, but whether to publish is decided by a person who checks the primary source first.

06

Not investment advice

We provide technology-progress information only — no investment solicitation or advice. The judgment is yours.

Frontier Milestones is an independent project with non-profit aims. It is not a registered foundation or non-profit corporation.
