What it measures

Frontier cost to capture and store one tonne of CO₂ ($/t) — lower is better. Today's plants run roughly $400–1,000/t; the industry target is ~$100/t, the level at which large-scale removal becomes economic. Figures are operator estimates and fall as plants scale.
