Privacy policy
What we collect, why, and the choices you have. We keep data collection minimal — we’re a public data tracker, not an ad business.
Last updated: 2026-06
What we collect
Newsletter: the email address you submit. Submissions (corrections, tips, company requests, collaboration): the message you write and, only if you choose to add it, your email. Server logs: standard request data (such as IP address and browser) kept transiently by our host for security and abuse prevention. We do not ask for names, payment details, or sensitive personal data.
How we use it
Newsletter emails are used only to send the newsletter you subscribed to. Submission messages are used to check and correct the data on the tracker, and to reply to you if you left an email. We never sell or rent the data you give us, and we never pass it to our advertising partners — ad serving is separate and is described under “Advertising & cookies”.
Who processes your data
We rely on providers who process data on our behalf: Cloudflare (hosts the site and stores newsletter subscribers and submissions in Cloudflare D1), Resend (delivers the confirmation and newsletter emails), and Google, which serves the advertising on this site (see “Advertising & cookies” below). Each handles data under its own terms and security.
Storage & retention
Subscriber emails are kept until you unsubscribe. Submissions are kept while we work through them and for a reasonable period afterwards as a record. We delete data sooner on request.
Your choices
Subscriptions use double opt-in — we only email you after you confirm. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in any newsletter, or by emailing us. You may ask us to access or delete the data we hold about you, and we will.
Advertising & cookies
This site is supported by advertising served by Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this and/or other sites. You can opt out of personalised advertising in Google Ads Settings (google.com/settings/ads), or opt out of a third-party vendor’s use of cookies for personalised advertising at aboutads.info. For any usage analytics we use a privacy-friendly, cookieless tool that does not identify you.
